Not to be spiteful

But I'm glad that Oregon st lost (doug's brother coaches there). I'm now sort of rooting against all of the philly schools to spite Lunardi.
I wonder if Lunardi, despite his "brand", might find his job in jeopardy if he continues to hover in the lower levels of bracketologists.

You gonna root against La Salle to spite him next season? (BJ)

Back when Lunardi was the only bracketologist I said that you could give someone who has never watched a basketball game in their life all the relevant stats and they would do a better job than Lunardi. He has pretty much been proving me right ever since.

I really doubt it anytime in the near future. Give my No Doz some time to kick in(coffee doesnt mix too well with beer) and I'll be able to explain more later. You nailed enough of it on your own, he's built a brand and hasnt had the history of being horrible itd take to ruin the name recognition yet, in my not always humble opinion.

Doubtful...its not about being right. Its about being good on camera and stir up discussion. Lunardi is pretty good on camera and certainly draws plenty of ire and discussion...

But there are a whole bunch of guys doing the same job now, and arguably better. Some of them can probably handle the on-camera stuff, as well.

Hey, ESPN sent Bill Simmons packing. I would think most any of their talent, especially if he/she is not delivering, could be vulnerable, as Disney trims its sails.

I don't think they pay him that much. He still has a job at St. Joe's.
