I thought we needed to keep him due to his being NJ royalty BUT with fair amount of NJ players leaving it seems that ship has sailed. Was never sure what he offered as far as actual coaching acumen though. Our ready made QBs excelled, all others flopped miserably.

Good for Nunz. He wants to be a HC so getting a coordinator job is a good step forward for him. He does well there and is situated for a job in northeast or at FCS level.

Perhaps this provides us the opportunity to hire a quality QB Coach; one who truly knows how to develop players at that position.

He turned Rutgers QB into a "functional" QB (Langan). He was also our TE coach for OG and Vilari.
8 years as head coach with Bergan Catholic, winning the 2017 State Championship and an overall record of 60-28.
His family is coaching roaylty in NJ.
Dude can coach, ZERO question about it.

Achilles injuries heal and Steve had a few good games. Nunz had the relationship with the family. There was concern that if he went to another p4 program that Steve would leave. I mean I guess it could still happen
