Fran and Co have soon with a QB they can run an elite offense
We are super young and missed on our backup QB, it happens
Better days are ahead!

Me and my son kept saying this last night. Carney comes in and they hand the ball off. Get stopped and then he is pulled.

The series he’s played this year they basically hand the ball off exclusively and don’t give him a chance to throw. Then they pull him as if he was the problem. Even if he can’t throw or doesn’t have a strong enough arm, it can’t be worse than Filardi and not much worse than Collin’s. At least try.

You keep saying decimated but we lost 2-4 players
You still have to factor in our 3-1 start, if you don't then yes the "2nd season of 2025" is worse then 2020

I think there was one play where Carney looked like he was dropping back to pass. Of course, the sieve of an offensive line allowed him to be sacked almost immediately.

How does it parse out by snaps? 9 games into the season, are sophs and RS sophs young? OL/DL/WR/ Nixon, Villari .

My second point shouldn't be overlooked. We've lost good young guys the last couple seasons.

One of the worst home seasons of all time. Only 6 games. Had to come from behind to beat UConn in OT. Weren’t close to Duke, Pitt, UNC none of whom are any good.

I didn't overlook your second part, I agree with.
I was speaking in general we are a very young team, if you are talking starters (which you did not state) yes we have older guys all over the field.

Gist of the OP was how bad have the contests been for Dome games. whether you bought season tickets or even a single game ticket you been screwed. but hope does await NOV 29th in the BASEMENT BOWL vs BC. should be a thriller. worth every penny for tix, parking, meals etc...

In 2022 we were 6-0 and ranked 14th in the U.S.

We lost a tough game to Clemson and got hit with injuries.

There was a lot of hope.

In 2023 we started 4-0 and we got hit with injuries.

This year we had hope at 3-1 and got hit with injuries.

Scott Shafer got hit with injuries - especially at QB.

The Syracuse football program has had a fundamental issue for years - a lack of quality depth.

I am hopeful that Fran Brown will change that dynamic, but that has been the issue for years.
