They have got to go. Period. I watched in first drive us run stack all way down field and score. Stack is 2 receivers lined one being the their on both sides. Guess what. Didn’t do it again. Our line wasn’t great but damn they weren’t the reason we lost. Ou off play calling is horrendous. Not bad but terrible. He has to be removed. Without a doubt. Defensively ward should be let go first for the lack of lb play. Now our best backer is easily Jones. I have watched 2 + quarters of maybe the worst lb play I have ever seen. Ok we all know they are running so what do our backers do, sit there until Dillon gets to them. Not one time did they come downhill except for Jones. So after our great lb play we follow it up with worst coaching. If it’s not working try someone else. Maybe it works maybe not but what in the hell would u watch the same guys play terrible and not try someone else. I can’t handle it. Our safeties were cheating up so bad cause our backers aren’t there and we get burned 2* wt h is happening. This is high school football mentally. Bad hs football. Example first play of gam bc on offense they run over so they have from center to end 5 guys on that side. 0 shift and they run to over and get 9 yds. I’m dumb and I’m screaming over over over nota. Back Sr take no steps forward at all. Our ng I see half the time got blocked back to lb who were still waiting for something not sure what. If Babers doesn’t make changes, maybe he isn’t the guy we need. I don’t know but this is terrible.

This is eerily similar to what's going on in East Lansing. Dantonio hired guys he befriended and it capped the progress they made and should have been making. Wildhack needs to have this conversation with Dino at season's end. You don't want to fire people you came up with because it will feel personal (firings always feel that way), but there are necessary moves that have to be done.

We sure Wildhack is all in on Dino? Didn’t hire him
He gave him a multi-year extension and a lot of money. I think he’s all in or he has some explaining to do. Dino is the best we’ll ever get. His coaching staff leaves a lot to be desired and none of them can recruit.

I believe he is and frankly that scares me a little. I know everyone is all in on our AD but he better be good or this ever changing landscape could see us getting left behind. Not sure we know what we have yet. Alumni and four letter pedigree or not.

things change quickly. I wonder if Dino frankly took his foot off the acceleration this year. Bucks stops w the coach.

I will tell you who is one football smart cat. His name is Julian Whigham. You all know who he is. I was listening to his podcast with Stephen Bailey on 30Oct19 regarding the Boston College game. Whigham was dead on 100% right. He said Syracuse needed to keep their secondary back because BC was going to do play action and go over the top. Whigham said when he played against run heavy teams, his DC at Syracuse Chuck Bullough used to tell the safeties and corners to stay back otherwise they were going to get beat over the top by play action. Whigham said flat out directly that that's what BC was going to do. Heavy dose of Dillon and Bailey and then boom, the long ball. How come Whigham knew this and Ward did not? How is it possible that the Syracuse coaching staff who watched hours and hours of tape couldn't figure out what a guy who is in Florida and isn't coaching football and has not seen any tape knew. It boggles the mind how bad these players are prepared. You really and truly can not make this stuff up.

I mean, this is basic football strategy since the advent of the forward pass.

Somebody better tell Ward and Monroe then because it's very apparent they didn't get the memo.

Bullough? The guy had a few days like today

Ward has had a lot more. He actually holds records for the wrong type like today, where his defense gave up the most points ever to a BC team.

I’m not going to bat for him on a day like today

Dino Babers needs to make some staff adjustments and we know it and deep down so does he. I was NEVER a Shafer fan and only referred to Bullough because Whigham did in his podcast.

I agree. I think it’s weird that people think he won’t.

Hopefully, when changes happen these Coaches have a strong recruiting pedigree.
