Official 2025 New York Football Giants Thread: A New Hope

After shutting out Denver for 3 quarters (and leading 19-0), the NYFG gave up 30 points in the 4th quarter to trail by 4.

Then marched downfield and scored a TD with 37 seconds left. And then missed the PAT.

Denver marches and kick the GW FG with no time on the clock.

It's so hard to root for this team.

PLEASE fire Daboll and Schoen.

What a total choke job by the Giants. Gave up 33 points in the fourth quarter. Dabol blew it by going for a meaningless two point conversion in the third quarter and their incompetent kicker yanked two extra points. Dabol went into an offensive shell in the final eight minutes which really blew the game. He needs to go. Hopefully, he’s fired tomorrow.
 
hw went into a shell, yet they lost because he threw a pick that would have killed more clock,
 
Giants up 26-8 with 10:22 left

Broncos score. 26-16 with 5:19 left.

Dart INT give Denver the ball in the Red Zone. Broncos TD 26-23 with 3:55

Giants stall and punt.

Denver TD 26-30 with 1:56

Giants TD 32-30 with :40. XP missed.

Two long passes gets Denver into FG range.

He did, and it definitely affected the game, but the play calling sucked. Run straight up the middle or throw deep. Where were the slants over the middle, where were the short passing routes to the tight ends.

You play good enough to win for 54 minutes and then become the 1st team in 1600 games to lose when winning by 18 with 6 minutes to go.

And you trot out a kid to kick who should not be on the roster. That's on Schoen and Daboll. Dave Jacobs could have made those extra points and he is how old.
 
Schoen and Daboll need to go, along with Bowen and everyone else. Not a huge fire the coach guy but these guys cannot get out of their own way.

Hope the Ravens want a change and the Giants nab Harbaugh. They need a real HC not a glorified coordinator .

Definitely need someone who has winning experience. Not Daboll and Schoen. How many Giants fans tonight would sign up for Belichick. LOL.

No not him either. The whole thing was a slow motion trainwreck.

Bowen should be dismissed, players were opening yelling (Brian Burns) about the scheme for the final series.

Yea i hear you. Hard to argue. Once nabers went down it was almost like angelli going down

This team (and i am tired of saying it every year) needs to start spending real money on the offensive line. Without it we will continue to apin our wheels

If anything this game (and last week) shows the infinite importance of the QB position. Dart was pulling an Eli - getting it to guys who very well wouldn't be on any other roster.

The roster mismanagement and a repeat of the Cowboys game deserves consequences, today.
