Every uber driver I had was bitching about the F1 eventGoing to be interesting to see what they will do with the baseball stadium where Tropicana is about to be domlished as well. Wonder if it will feel slammed into a spot on the strip similarly.
Also, the F1 stuff is insane. It’s like 2 months away and they are building all the “temporary” structures already.
I saw one article that said the rebels came out to support due to attendance….. they forgot to mention almost the entire club section and the Syracuse side was 90%+ orange 9-10k…."With 31,329 in attendance — the third-highest since UNLV began playing at Allegiant Stadium in 2020"
I was surprised the announcers never noted SU’s attendance there, lots of Orange in the telecast.I saw one article that said the rebels came out to support due to attendance….. they forgot to mention almost the entire club section and the Syracuse side was 90%+ orange 9-10k….
the announcers (Trent Rush and Petros Papadakis) were morons, as thoroughly discussed.I was surprised the announcers never noted SU’s attendance there, lots of Orange in the telecast.
I may have been in that crowd...
I would say we were close to 35-40% of fans in attendance.I was surprised the announcers never noted SU’s attendance there, lots of Orange in the telecast.
This is replying to why the bathroom lines were sooo long.To be fair, western crowds don't drink like Eastern crowds.

Barely... HahaIs everyone alive?
You could definitely tell on the telecast that the Orange was well represented. Heard our cheers and chants drown things out more than a few times. The place erupted when Meeks and Allen scored the last two TD’s. But the surprising thing was how loud it got when the D tackled Williams on 3rd down in OT. Clearly we were louder than the hometown fans. That was all you crazy SyracuseFan people.I would say we were close to 35-40% of fans in attendance.
Hey, thats me and JRHEETER chanting. You see us coming around the corner at the end of the video. We started that one. Lol
What is the F1? Thank you.I lived in Long Beach for 18 yrs. F1 takes over.
I'm alive. That was one for the record books.
Today is my drinking day. You'll find me in a Mandalay Bay beach bungalow or the craps table!
What is the F1? Thank you.
Formula one auto race that goes thru lv Blvd, Harmon, Koval etc. later this autumn. What is the F1? Thank you.
much of it has been up all year. second year of a three year contract with an option for out to ten years currently.Formula 1 auto racing. They race through the strip. There’s temporary construction that goes up for the race and is taken down after.

So you agree much remained up all year. I too found uber drivers generally hate it, one even said he quits during the period it is completely erected.Much of it has been taken down as well. Like the temp bridge they are building this year and the temp bleachers as noted in the article attached. The constriction going on is due to the temporary structures. Not sure of a debate on that.
F1 Removing Controversial Bridge After Las Vegas Businesses Owners Say Grand Prix Cost Them Millions
Local businesses owners say they lost millions thanks to the first ever Vegas Grand Prix F1 race, and they're leaning on Super Bowl weekend to make up for the losses.www.forbes.com
They take it down mostly near the iconic structures. They leave the rest up where it doesn’t interfere so far since last year… basically looks like construction scaffolding and keeps the walk path clear below with seating up top.So you agree much remained up all year. I personally would never be in Vegas during that event. Just not for me.

You could say everything in Vegas is a temporary structure, some of the oldest iconic venues are long gone, Tropicana is mostly gone, Excaliber is probably gone in ten years or less. In Vegas the rule is make money or you are gone, you are also gone if more money can be made by replacing what is there. Just the way it is.Yep if you go back and read every post I made itt I used the word temporary. I was discussing the temporary structures which are causing the issues with the traffic
