ONE YEAR OF ELIGIBILITY REMAINING

Started 7 games last season for the troubled Seminoles, all at LG. Also has played some center.

If anyone is going to challenge Collins at center, it will probably be Ferguson.

Fran Brown is doing things I never thought would be possible at Syracuse University.

Not that we couldn't get some great players here and there, not that we couldn't compete with elite teams on occasion (like how we beat Miami last year, with the combination of the right personnel).

But the three offensive linemen prospects we just landed back to back to back? Anyone who has followed this team over the years and paid attention to recruiting over the years knows that OL has traditionally been our kryptonite.

What a freaking transformation.
You think maybe coming back to win that Miami game and seeing a pro type offense is making kids take notice.
Plus hearing how tough the schedule is makes these players realize most of our games are going to be prime time.
If they can come here and help us have a great season their stock for the future goes sky high.
And when we beat Tennessee to open the season, everything is possible.

We need to step back a little. His PFF grade for last year was 42.6.
Playing for a bad team and coach, no one could have a good rating on that team. Their entire program needed to get rid of the head coach. The first bad series next year and they will collapse.

Yep their team quit last year, a new environment may be just what the doctor ordered for Ferguson. And really, very likely so….
