I've been wanting to comment on it, but have stayed silent. Heard similar including he was an SU lean even when some folks had him as a Gator or ND-bound. I still have a slight fear of him being poached, but am 75% sure he will at least announce SU this coming week.

Thanks. I've always had the feeling friends and family were his anchor and that's what would win out, at least if you read between the lines with him. Any kid his age is going to be wowed by the bright lights and attention but he seems too attached to the area, plus you can tell he's a proud NY kid. Maybe he's Marrone's Tim Green, really hope so. The program has so needed a big time blue chip recruiting win.

the good thing in regards to LOI signing is that with him being a Jan enrollee that would help limit the poaching a little if he does commit to us. A lot of the full court press and decommiting occurs in Jan and early Feb due to the teams (high school and college) still playing and being preoccupied earlier in the season. There is obviously a lot of recruiting and visits going on during the season, but once the season is officially over is when it picks up significantly so that would at least be minimized in Ebo's recruitment.

If he does commit here ( I dont have anything concrete but sounds good) your point about being poached is 100% correct. As good a job as the staff has done to get this close, if he does commit its going to be just as hard to keep him from flipping, especially if the season goes south.
