EO is #1

This article puts a big damper on SU's hope's even though we are in his final four

Ogundeko’s friend & mentor, Amaree Jenkins, confirmed that Ogunko wants to play in the SEC
Ebenezer Ogundeko, defensive lineman at Thomas Jefferson HS, has 30 Division I college scholarship offers but trims list to four

Gotta love 'handlers'...what's the 'we' ?

quote form article:

We don’t know yet,” Jenkins says.

Anyhow, I dont get the feeling his offer to Florida is committable. So the handler says he wants to play in the SEC and there was the rumor he tried to commit on his visit to Florida but it didn't happen. If he plays in the SEC it'll probably be for Ole Miss.

I think he'll be blown away by Arizona State but can't see him going that far away.

Top undecided prospect
Ebenezer Ogundeko, DE
(Brooklyn, N.Y./Thomas Jefferson)
Ogundeko, who's No. 108 in the ESPN 150 and the nation's No. 9 defensive end, said he's down to Florida, Notre Dame and Syracuse after receiving offers from many of the nation's top programs, including Alabama and Oregon. The Gators have made the four-star prospect a higher priority after a rash of decommitments last month and look for them to keep the pressure on.

Syracuse Orange
The Orange haven't dominated dominated New York, but they've had success with the commitments of tailback Augustus Edwards (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) and linebacker Devan Carter (Rochester, N.Y./Brighton). Obviously, Ogundeko would be a huge pickup for Syracuse, which is thought to be well within the running. Still, will he turn down a more successful SEC program like Florida or a program with more recent tradition like Notre Dame? He'd certainly be the highest rated prospect in the Orange's 2013 class if he signed with the in-state school.

Rovals now reporting the top two is syracuse and Florida followed by miss and arz state

That's good. I worry about his handlers just trying to get him to the most visible school, though

me to. hoping his mom and siblings have more sway.

I know kids don’t much consider things like this but I think it would be pretty cool to be starting on the same defense with some of my boys. Reddish and Wayne Morgan. Bromley will probably be graduated but swaggercuse City boys Wayne Williams and Devon Walls could be starting on that line with him.

With everything said on that "taunting" thread, I think SU will have a fun/confident team to play for with the NYC kids. But not everyone wants that kind of football experience. Ya know? Let him enjoy his courtship. If he comes, great. If not...

Don't forget Welsh, Simmons, Sloan, Foy etc ... they have a lot of NYC there ...

I'd hardly call what ND brings recent tradition - yes SU has been mostly awful for a decade, but so has ND - and SU is 2-1 vs ND during that time...

i thought that was oddly worded too.

If all of the top NY State talent had come to SU in the past five years do we beat USC on Saturdau? I think there would have been a good chance. The chemistry is building, now we have to hope that kids like Ebenezer Ogundeko feel the pride of representing their state to the nation and help gain respect for New York football.

It's in their hands. They have an oppoirtunity to make a statement that will get everyone's attention.

I've had a feeling he's going to pull the string for SU right along. But then again I had the same feeling about Ishaq, right up to 4 am that morning in January when ND serenaded him under his windowsill.

I only listed the kids I think we'll be defensive starters with him.

I gotcha but still if you look at who could be starting or receiving serious minutes a lot would go the NYC way ... besides with some added beef I think we could see Simmons start.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Former Nebraska offensive lineman Tyler Moore informed Florida head coach Will Muschamp Thursday of his intention to transfer to Florida, according to Brian Moore, Tyler's father.

That makes one less open spot for Fla's 2013 recruiting class at OL.Kid hjas been living and going to school in Fla this year so no eligibility problem.

This is going to be a 1000 post thread.. Count it!

EO to Cuse will be the 1242 post.

If 1242 is EO to Cuse, then it will go to at least 1500.
If EO doesn't choose Cuse, it's probably 1600. Bigger population of negative posters.

I'll take the over either way. We are months away from any decision.
