Nkemdiche's brother is actually the main reason if you weren't aware. Ole Miss was the only school to offer his bro and they are very close. Hence why Ole Miss was considered the favorite despite him being a Clemson commit.

I tend to agree but don't ever doubt Clemson's cash flow, they have been on probation more than a few times.

Clemson is more of a possibility...they have three DE's committed (counting Nkemdiche) and their 2nd DE is Elijah Daniel (remember him) who is a soft verbal and still looking around...

Robert's best friend (nephew of my gf) is a walk-on @ Clemson. He was the QB @ Grayson last year, they won a state championship.
Robert's brother as you noted is @ Ole Miss and having a breakout year. He was under recruited and the family remembers that.
Robert's high school coach is the "Rudy" of Alabama football, Mickey Conn.
Clemson is only an hour from their hometown.

The true catalyst: Robert's Mom... She is getting involved late in the game and is smelling the $$. Sad, that she is potentially a driver here after not being around much to raise her kids..

I think the second weekend in December is lining up to be a big recruiting weekend. Zach Allen from TX, Gus Edwards, etc being here and I would expect him to be here then
