Yay 1000!
Are you insinuating that I've made my favorite known to you all too much? When have I ever over stated a position?Laray Smith ... really Cali? I had no idea you were high on him.
We honestly don't need him.DE is really going to be covered in2013.Let this thread die a slow and peaceful death as Ogundeko bounces from one blue-chip program to another. We can always say we had an outside shot...i guess.
Florida? What I thought that Clemson and Notre dame were his dream schools? Or was it Syracuse, ASU, or UCON?

Actually your fascination with him is borderline scary since you've never seen him play other than a few youtube videos.
HisSpeed is documented His videos indicated enough of his ability to decern that once he clears the LOS he can go all the way. We don't have near enough of those kind of players.Ebo is superfluous as a DE. We have excellent candidates there next season.Don't be afraid. Scary could be our offense next season with the right guns.
What makes you think he won't or can't find the hole. The kid isn't a virgin. Superfluous might have been too strong a word but we are well covered at DE. MPB Hilliard, Manley RobinsonRaymon and maybe even Pancho. I have no idea what the situation is with that kid. It seems however we are OK there.e need his speed even if its to take a swing pas for a juke and go.Yes and so is Kobena's speed ... and the key word there is "once" he clears the LOS ... we love speed no doubt but what I want are guys who are really good ball players with that speed ... if he can't find a hole then what good would he be? And sorry but a 4 star DE is far from superfluous Cali ...

You might say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not.He has many dreams.

Justto be clear if we can pursuade Ebo to come here it would be "great"accomplishment for the coaches. My preference for offense and Laray is only a preference not an exclusion. I believe that Hilliard has redeclared his choice for Syracuse. Pancho is still a ?Everyone knows that Raymon is aDT. Raymon Williams Bromley and Walls make for a huge interior defensive line.Never said he couldn't ... once again my point is you have no idea whether he can ... and with his top flight speed why isn't he being offered by everyone and their brothers? Then you tell me the cupboard is full at DE when you have no clue what the status is with Hilliard ... right now his status is mere conjecture ... or Pancho for that matter ... and Raymon is a DT not a DE ... you do not just waive off a 4 star recruit when you are SU ... you don't ... you fight to get him till the final bell ... and if you accept OK as the status of any given position then I best not hear you complain about our talent because we are OK or better at every position.
Why is your preference for offense, especially when we have Jerome, PTG, AAM, Morris, McFarlane, and Gus already at that position?Justto be clear if we can pursuade Ebo to come here it would be "great"accomplishment for the coaches. Pancho won't be here for another year if he makes it at all, Hilliard's up in the air with grades, and we need DE's. Ebo is not a DT like you imply in your post.
A fair question but the ubknown factor involving DMF and Morris is whether they can break away and go the distance from anywhere on the field. I love Jerome Smith but he hasn't been a "take it home kind of RB. PTG has shown a bit especially last week but he needs to shake loose more often. i think he has the speed but he thinks a bit more than he needs to rather than just hitting the hole fast and "furious if you will"!Gus might have that asset but I'm not sure. Laray has that kind of talent for sure. I can see him as an extremely fast assetaround the corner p the middle or a swing pass and go play. Thats my thinking flawed or otherwise. Why is your preference for offense, especially when we have Jerome, PTG, AAM, Morris, McFarlane, and Gus already at that position?

A big body or two is required on the offensive side. Two red-shirts on that unit for the 2014 season. You gotta think in those terms every year. Knapp and Emerich will be available next year if need be.We lost a couple this season in Curtis and a name that escapes me at the moment.:noidea:Bromley, Walls, and Zian Jones are all SR's next year and Goggins leaves after this year - so that's 4 DT's gone from the roster - I wouldn't be surprised if we took another high school DT this class too if there's a legit prospect available. We have Wayne Williams and I. Johnson on board so far, another body wouldn't hurt. I'd love to see 2 DT's redshirt next year.

As I've replied to many of your posts regarding recruits who you have never seen play: you know this...how?
Right. Jerome Smith, who broke a 35 yard run for a TD last week. How can you say Laray Smith has that talent but DMF and Morris don't? I thought Morris was going to get the 44 from you last year? Now he's not good enough? And Laray's better than Gus? How do you know? Because you watched a few highlight tapes?A fair question but the ubknown factor involving DMF and Morris is whether they can break away and go the distance from anywhere on the field.
