HisSpeed is documented His videos indicated enough of his ability to decern that once he clears the LOS he can go all the way. We don't have near enough of those kind of players.Ebo is superfluous as a DE. We have excellent candidates there next season.Don't be afraid. Scary could be our offense next season with the right guns.

Yes and so is Kobena's speed ... and the key word there is "once" he clears the LOS ... we love speed no doubt but what I want are guys who are really good ball players with that speed ... if he can't find a hole then what good would he be? And sorry but a 4 star DE is far from superfluous Cali ...

What makes you think he won't or can't find the hole. The kid isn't a virgin. Superfluous might have been too strong a word but we are well covered at DE. MPB Hilliard, Manley RobinsonRaymon and maybe even Pancho. I have no idea what the situation is with that kid. It seems however we are OK there.e need his speed even if its to take a swing pas for a juke and go.

We have Wayne Williams and I. Johnson on board so far, another body wouldn't hurt. I'd love to see 2 DT's redshirt next year.

A fair question but the ubknown factor involving DMF and Morris is whether they can break away and go the distance from anywhere on the field. I love Jerome Smith but he hasn't been a "take it home kind of RB. PTG has shown a bit especially last week but he needs to shake loose more often. i think he has the speed but he thinks a bit more than he needs to rather than just hitting the hole fast and "furious if you will"!Gus might have that asset but I'm not sure. Laray has that kind of talent for sure. I can see him as an extremely fast assetaround the corner p the middle or a swing pass and go play. Thats my thinking flawed or otherwise.

A big body or two is required on the offensive side. Two red-shirts on that unit for the 2014 season. You gotta think in those terms every year. Knapp and Emerich will be available next year if need be.We lost a couple this season in Curtis and a name that escapes me at the moment.:noidea:

agreed - after those guys are gone we'd have:

Sloan - red junior
Crume - senior
Coleman - red soph
Raymon - red junior

I Johnson rfrosh and hopefully Wayne Williams sr

If not another kid his year then next years class will have to be heavy on DLine.

Right. Jerome Smith, who broke a 35 yard run for a TD last week. How can you say Laray Smith has that talent but DMF and Morris don't? I thought Morris was going to get the 44 from you last year? Now he's not good enough? And Laray's better than Gus? How do you know? Because you watched a few highlight tapes?
