Glad to have you all onboard. You fit in great. Looks like you can develop a couple of good rivalries with NCSU and Wake Forest. I think your recruiting in the Southeast will pick up, and, you'll contend soon.

What say you, Orange fans?

The gold helmets have bullied us.

Frustated - It's been a tough season for us. We're glad to be playing nationally relevant teams most weeks for sure. I think for the most part it has been internal frustration with our offensive game plans as our coaches grow into their roles in their first years.

There's been a little bit of frustration about officiating. Certainly, we have false start penalties, but there have been several games where holding, PI and personal fouls havent been evenly called. There are games in past years we have been the beneficiaries of uneven officiating, but it seems to even out over the course of the year; hasn't been the case this year.

I think its more the growing pains of first year coaches, than it is in the ACC. We're glad to be here and looking forward to next year and the coming years.

It's a league of Have's and Have Nots. I wanted to be King of the Have Nots, but that Pitt game didn't work out. Hopefully we salvage 4-4 this weekend.

That Duke-UNC game is suddenly more interesting than...ever?

As a Carolina fan, I cannot remember the last time a UNC-Duke FOOTBALL GAME had this much meaning.

For us, its a season of 'what might have been.' I knew the losses to Tech, VPI, and, Miami would come back to bite us in the backside. If we win even one of those games, then we would be in control of the Coastal Division.

Coulda...woulda...shoulda...didn't. Story of our program's history.

I love the ACC but I wish we had entered in a year when we didn't have an all new staff, offense, QB and no WRs.

We basically had to cut and paste to figure out how to win some ugly games but we survived and that's something.

I would have preferred to be in the Coastal rather than Atlantic division but happy to be here.

Fans are great and a cut above the old BE. It is going to be fun. (Also, have a daughter that graduated from Chapel Hill so there is that intra-family thing as well!)

I'm loving the ACC.

Great conference - great teams to play - chance to visit southern schools like Ga Tech and NC State this year.

It's been great.

Now, just beat BC and go bowling and all will be well.

Agree with just about all of the above, especially the one about how it's unfortunate that we are trying to break in a new offense this season.

FSU is very good this season. It certainly helps the conference's perception if a couple oft he top teams do well, and that hasn't happens much lately in the ACC.

Rivalries with some of our divisional mates will take some time to germinate. NCSU should take right off as a rival for us. It's a shame Maryland is bolting for that reason. Wish we could reshuffle the divisions.

The middle and bottom of the ACC this year is pretty much the same as the big east the last decade, just different faces. I would include the top of have ACC in that, but obviously a small group of ACC teams have finally stepped up this year.

The ACC cheerleaders are, overall, not quite the spectacular super babes we were lead to expect. Everyone has some recruiting to do.

I think Cuse is filled with a bunch of 4 and 5 star talent this year...love the new optical asset enhancing uniforms they are wearing this year.

I'd be cool with the coastal too...maybe sub us for Pitt.

Tough year, but expected in my book. Lost most impact players, new staff, new offense, lots of beginner mistakes that will get better over time IMO. I'd expect us to start competing more heavily in 2-3 years.

Great being in one of the 5 relevant leagues and being amongst peer institutions and fanbases that actually care.

Still getting used to having to care about most of the schools though. All season I find myself flipping past NC State-Wake or Miami-Duke and thinking, "Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be interested in that game". It'll come in time, I'm sure.

Wes Durham is pretty good but the closest Bojangles' is five hours away.

Love the move to the ACC. But if NC State and Wake Forest become our rivals per this prediction - can't say I'm too excited about that.

Crusty you will have to get one of those "house-divided" vanity plates. I have friends that have State/UNC ones. I think they should come out with one for Cuse/UNC.

BTW, Bojangles is pretty good for fast food chicken. Had me some post game after the NCSt win.

Yes, we joined the ACC for the rivalry with Wake Forest. It is second only to the venomous Seton Hall & Rutgers battles.

Would I rather play UNC over WF yearly? Of course, but as a consolation prize game day at WFU is actually very good. Great little stadium and tailgating. Much better game day than UConn or Rutgirls.

great fit for Syracuse sports. Love the acc much more than any other conf we could have landed in. I think that we will add much to the acc and yes that includes football as we will be back. great to be playing such storied programs

Glad to be in a conference where we can finally win! Those were some tough years in the Big East.:D
