What is Texas considered, I always thought it was part of the southwest United States, but I checked a map, and it isn't. Is Texas just North Mexico?

Ok, I see one definition that includes Texas and Oklahoma. So, that is half their conference. My post stands.

There are varying definitions of the southwest, some don't include either, some include both.
