Disagree he is a big loss. Overall we are recruiting at a much higher level and continue to win many recruits. I would also wait as there is a long time between now and early signing period. Much can change.

Yes. Their class is actually rated quite highly even though they have really struggled recruiting NJ.

This guy is legitimately good. I wonder if they will be able to keep him.

Yeah that is exactly what I noticed when I looked earlier today. Rutgers 2025 class has kids that are ranked pretty high but not many from Jersey.

I still question the validity of some of their kids rankings, even if they aren’t from Jersey. When that NY kid nobody even heard of commited to them out of nowhere and instantly got the #2 ranking in the class is suspect to say the least.

Another kid who ran out of options (at least the ones he wanted). He OV’d Rutgers last weekend and was supposed to visit Miami this weekend. After Rutgers visit he said Rutgers was out and his final 3 were Georgia, Tennessee, and Miami. Miami visit suddenly gets cancelled by them and Rutgers insiders saying they’re hearing they might actually still be in it. I’ve heard that he wasn’t a take at the others anymore so jumped on Rutgers since they’d still take him.

I’m not sure about what happened with us but I’m guessing we may have moved on since he was pretty adamant about OVing to us from the beginning. He has potential/tools to be solid down the road which earned him his high rankings but his work ethic and intensity have been questioned. High ceiling/lower floor type of player is how he was described to me.

He’s seemed to lose all his “Big Time” offers, as well as rating. I would have certainly taken him, but i don’t think it’s as big of a deal. I held Michael Thomas and a few other NJ recruits in higher standing. Both these kids are from the Toms River area.

Yupper and Thomas lll committed to RU, that sucks I really like that kid.

What research did you do to determine that. Many sports reports I have read has that the money is definitely a factor in many recruits.
