As amazing as it might seem, every single member of the OL rotation has big question marks headed into the season. Every single one.
Pugh--can he rebound from this injury; how soon; and when will he be able to go 100%?
Hickey--can he bounce back from multiple season ending injuries, and how will his lateral mobility be?
Chibane--can he rebound from a subpar junior performance and develop into the anchor that this OL so desperately needs?
Macky--is he a stalwart as some suggest, or physically overmatched as others claim?
Foy--redshirt frosh with no playing experience, what does he bring to the table?
Alexander--senior who has barely played, what does he bring to the table, and can he be better than last year's RT, Hay?
Trudo--highly touted, but got beat out in camp, so what does he bring to the table?
Robinson--redshirt frosh with no playing experience, what does he bring to the table?
Philips--played well in spurts, can he handle more consistent PT playing multiple positions?
[these next two are true frosh who I wouldn't expect to play barring catastrophic circumstances]
Emerich--true frosh who probably won't play, but if pressed into duty how good can he be?
Knapp--true frosh who probably won't play, but will have big shoes to fill at LT, so how good is he?
How these questions get answered will go a LONG way toward determining what this team is capable of achieving this season. Here's hoping we get a lot of positive answers.
Let's Go Orange!!!
