USC is scrambling for a class. Since Riley was hired, they had a 5 star RB flip from OU, but also lost 5 commits from what was a 8 or 9 person class. So I'm sure we'll see offers go out to prospects that are not the usual expectation for USC just to fill out a class.

Riley is fairly cut throat about that and his staffs are high level recruiters once they have their feet under them. Be interesting to see how his career develops there and if he sticks.

They heavily recruited California with great success, while at OU. Riley brought with him the coaches who had a hand in that. I'm shocked they aren't killing it now based on the fact they don't have to re-establish connections.

2024: Madden saw action in 12 games (all but LSU) at linebacker as a redshirt sophomore in 2024. He recorded 5 total tackles.

Madden tallied 1 tackle against Utah State. He had 1 tackle against Michigan and 1 tackle versus Wisconsin. He recorded 1 tackle against Washington and 1 tackle in the Las Vegas Bowl against Texas A&M.

2023: Madden saw action in 1 game (Nevada) as a redshirt freshman in 2023, but he did not record any stats.

2022: Madden redshirted as a true freshman and did not see action in any games in 2022.




HIGH SCHOOL: He made the 2021 All-Region 4-AAAAA first team as a senior outside linebacker and wide receiver at Dutchtown High in Hampton (Ga.).

He also was on the basketball and track teams at Dutchtown, with bests of 10.71 in the 100-meter and 22.22 in the 200-meter. He was third in the 100 and sixth in the 200 and anchored the winning 400-meter relay quartet at the 2020 Georgia Class 5A Championships.
