It's a shame we don't have our own stadium to play in. It would help greatly in games like today's. Playing in a friendly environment would have been nice for our new staff and players.

Oh, wait, we DO have an on campus stadium! Sorry, it's hard to remember when home games are willingly played in hostile environments - that we actually have our own stadium!

You appreciate this game was never scheduled for the Dome, right? And neither of us can say for certain whether Penn State would've gone for a 1 for 1 arrangement.

They went for a 1 for 1 a few years back. And if they didnt go for it this time, then to hell with them and play another good program who will go for it.

There are plenty of arguments to make against inequitable arrangements -- e.g., moving Dome games to MetLife. But as long as Gross is the AD, the playing in the greater NYC market question is settled. We are going to do it -- and MetLife doesn't want us if we're only willing to play Ball State.
