The NCAA does factor in missing components of teams when assessing seeding for the NCAA Tournament. Meaning the Southerland six-game absence will not hurt us coming seeding time (provided he is still a member of the team for the NCAA Tournament **fingers crossed**).
Therefore, we have only lost one game at full strength this season, in the eyes of the NCAA. And we are a made free throw by MCW or a missed three-point heave by the Villanova pest of a PG away from having two losses overall.
I know it's a LONG way away, but we are still very much alive for a #1 seed.
Need to win 3 of the 4 out of Marq./L'ville/GTown 2x, and win the rest against teams we should beat (with Wednesday's game vs. UConn being the most difficult of those, IMO.)
I think that would be enough to be positioned for a 1 heading into the BET.
