But nobody uses them when the CFP poll comes out. They’re important in the first half of the season for sure. Every single place I looked this past week had the CFP poll ranking next to our name. I could care less what the AP/Coaches think once the CFP comes into play.

I tend to agree, but I think being ranked highly in the AP and Coaches poll looks very good to recruits. That was my point.
