Could this Drew Robinson also put an end to the DJ and "Let's Go SU" cheerleader show at the Dome? Combined with FanFest and skillful marketing, that would really represent a sea change.

If he can accomplish that, I nominate him as Honorary Retired Jersey Spell-Checker.
 
Nice job by the University with this one. Holding it on a Saturday makes sense. Putting it with another event is a smart decision. Letting people see the IPF...all brilliant moves

As previously announced, our annual Fan Fest takes place in less than a month, on Saturday, August 15th, and will feature an afternoon full of interactive activities with many of our Fall sports. While Fan Fest is FREE and open to the public, we have a number of additional benefits available exclusively to our 2015 Football season ticket holders:
  • Private BBQ - Enjoy a complimentary BBQ with fellow Orange football season ticket holders from 4-6pm (pre-registration required) *.
  • Tours of our newly-renovated Football wing.
  • Fan tunnel for children of season ticket holders (12 & under) to welcome the team to the field.
  • Special roped-off viewing area for the Football practice.
  • Lastly, we will have a gift for all season ticket holders (one per season ticket) at the season ticket holder check-in area, located at the entrance to the new Ensley Athletic Center. If you are unable to attend Fan Fest, you will be able to pick-up the gift at the Carrier Dome Box Office beginning Monday, August 17th, as well as at any 2015 home Football game.
* To RSVP for the BBQ, please email mail@carrierdome.com with the name on your season ticket account, as well as how many people will be attending. Invites to the BBQ are limited to the number of season tickets on your account. To guarantee your spot at our BBQ, please RSVP by no later than Friday, July 31st at 5pm.

When you arrive next Saturday, we encourage you to head directly to the Ensley Athletic Center lobby to check-in for the BBQ and receive your wristband for entry. We will have a list of everyone who RSVP’d, and will wristband you and your registered guests upon verification. As an FYI, the list will be under the name of the season ticket holder of record, so please be prepared to show photo ID.

Don’t forget about the other fun activities planned for the day:
  • Access to tour the newly-renovated Football wing from 3-6pm.

No doubt. I wanted my kids to meet the group .. they don't come to games. But we can find the usual suspects and say hello if there's not going to be a FM gathering.
