Orange in the '22 Draft

TALENT. we ain't got it. just embarrassing for SU the past 10 drafts. we know our weakness. address it.
Thirty two teams had 3 or more players drafted this year. One was San Diego St. One wasn't Syracuse

Texas had 0. Clemson only had 2. Some teams stars are young.

ok, in the past ten years we have had 14 players drafted, two were punters. You cherrypicked two teams. How did Texas and Clemson do. I will save you the time. Texas, 27. Clemson 53

Two things

1. Anyone who watched this past season compared to the prior 10 knows the ACC had an uncharacteristically down year.

2. Also, Syracuse has NFL talent on the roster. In 2021 we put three db’s on NFL rosters including Cisco who for all we know could have made some serious waves if Urban wasn’t a dumpster fire.

We have multiple players on our current roster already garnering NFL attention. There are several others where its not hard to project them as draft prospects.

Tucker
Bergeron
Thompson
Jones
Williams

Multiple “potential” guys as well.

Yes. History says the SEC has the most players drafted. After that, it is very close between the ACC, the B1G, and the P12.

The B12 has been behind for a long time and is about to fall off a cliff.

Yep.

And furthermore, us Syracuse fans can look at our recent string of all americans, freshman and out right, too.

You said this year so I focused on this year.

Can't imagine Cody Roscoe doesn't at least get an invite.
Amazing to me he hasn't gotten an invite. He was really productive for us this past season in a pretty successful defense. Our most productive DL numbers wise for sure. Teams must be docking him a lot for his height. HIs 4.8 sec 40 time isn't amazing but how fast should he run at 6'-1" and 270 lbs? His other tested numbers were solid.

I think some teams are making a mistake.

Is there a way for the undrafted to jump into the remainder of USFL season to get some tape out there?
