Yes, he could “crack” the lineupI’m only an amateur Olympic proctologist, but by my estimation he has a 17.34% chance of making it, give or take .03%.
Not a terrible idea. He's basically a vet minimum guy checking to see if he can get any better than that.
Summer league? Honestly don’t know. So, what do players do over the next month to focus on free agency? Is it to free up time to interview with teams?
I wouldn't think he's a summer league guy. He's too established, isn't he?Summer league? Honestly don’t know.
Yeah.I wouldn't think he's a summer league guy. He's too established, isn't he?
What this means is his agent has advised him not to risk injury by participating in the Olympics because he might be a fringey enough player to not have great contract options, and those definitely evaporate if he gets hurt. So, what do players do over the next month to focus on free agency? Is it to free up time to interview with teams?
Yeah, the article on Boston.com clearly states he (Walker) can be shipped down to Maine for paltry cash. I think you, once again, are jumping the gun here.Lonnie Walker just got the Celtics spot. Hopefully Z Oshae cans his agent for this.
Whose agent is more incompetent. Brissette or Hassan Reddick? What a horrible move from his agent hope he gets signed soon. And to do this after winning a title when you can enjoy it for the entire off-season make appearances etc.
For all the bemoaning of college players and NIL resulting in bad mistakes Oshae opting out of a guaranteed contract with the Celtics tops any of them and he's much older and wiser and has earned more.
Without really knowing the whole story of either player’s situation other than they are very different, I’d have to go with Oshae’s agent.Whose agent is more incompetent. Brissette or Hassan Reddick?
for an end of the bench guy he should have fired his agent and followed Jalen Rose's cardinal rule. Keep cashing them checks.Without really knowing the whole story of either player’s situation other than they are very different, I’d have to go with Oshae’s agent.
Reddick could be making millions of dollars if he wanted to right now even after his long holdout. He will have a job when he wants it (even if it doesn't pay him as much as he was asking for) and has a contract.
Update: just saw an article this morning he ended his holdout.
It’s looking like Oshae received some bad info and might not have had the luxury of giving up his player option to pursue other opportunities. He’s done some nice things at each of his stops, but he's still an end of the bench player. Reading articles, Celtics might keep that #15 spot empty for now. I’m wondering if he thought that would be there as a backup if nothing else panned out. Still hoping something materializes for him.
Agreed. Had the chance to make $2.58 million to run it back with his teammates.for an end of the bench guy he should have fired his agent and followed Jalen Rose's cardinal rule. Keep cashing them checks.
