OSU only goes 6 deep!

Considering they average more possessions than we do, and outside of conference games ran the ball quite a bit and like to run when they can, I'm going to say that you haven't been paying attention to Ohio State, and either follow the B1G stereotype or are talking out of your ass.

Laugh... pal... I covered Ohio State for a living for six years. Trust me, I have paid attention to them extensively. They don't allow many points in transition. They run selectively, but against better opponents that like to score in transition, they typically slow it down and do a great job of keeping it a halfcourt game. I'm well aware of their tempo, but against teams like Michigan State, Florida, Duke, Indiana, etc., they usually played a pace around 65 possessions. It's not a snail's pace like Wisconsin, but like Wisconsin, they're VERY good at getting back and getting set on defense before teams score in transition. It's one of the things they practice religiously on (not a guess).

In their last game they played 8. Two of those 8 played a combined 4 minutes. I mean, they HAVE other players, but they wanna keep those top 6 on the court. If we can force them into foul trouble and playing more guys with less PT, that can only help.

Again, so basically JB's approach.
