OT CBS HD picture on TW in Syracuse

Anyone else have Time Warner and have an issue with the picture quality on CBS? Yesterday for the Georgia/South Carolina game the picture was constantly having issues today the pixilation issues seem to be gone but the picture has been downgraded to pretty much a non HD feed, looks like m watching the game on a 1986 Magnavox TV. God I hate Time Warner.

Time Warner's equipment is brutal. I constantly have issues with getting a message "This channel is temporarily unavailable." I've had them out two times to try to fix it and still have the issue. It might be because my apartment building is a little older - who knows? Yesterday I had to watch the second half of our game on the computer because it happened on ESPNEWS and today Red Zone is having issues. The two freaking channels I wanted to watch this weekend!

Unreal how bad they are. Apparently the CBS feed last week wasn't in High Def for the NFL game either. Of course I am sure they will blame CBS for the issues.

Also I know its not TW's fault for once but what the hell is up with the microphones these officials are using. The PSU/Rutty game the guy was inaudible and the official for the Bills game today is even worse.

They also had problems with A&E, FX, and a couple other channels that were all pixilated and skipping. It happened all the way through Sons of Anarchy. They usually have a block of channels go bad all at the same time, which means it's the feed they all share.

Their equipment does suck too. I have to reboot my digital box once a week, sometimes two. The feed sometimes freezes around midnight when you go to access the guide. Usually it corrects itself without a problem, but sometimes you have to reboot. The power button won't even work.

I'm in Camillus and I switched to Verizon about 4 months ago. I was a long time TW customer. I've got the Bills game on now and the picture is great. HD.

I really think that Verizon transmits a (slightly) higher quality TV pic. I've had no problems with them since I switched...plus I'm paying less $ per month.

I have had the same problems with my TW service in the Baldwinsville area. I shudder to think what might happen if TW is able to merge with Comcast!

No kidding. We need to start converting some of those FGs to TDs but I'm not going to overanalyze or be too critical about 2-0. On to the Chargers.
