OT: Demarco to Eagles?

NFC East right now
1. Cowboys 9-11 wins
2/3. Eagles/Giants 7-10 wins
4. Redskins 5-8 wins

Cowboys are still the favorites as that OL is still the best in the NFL and will allow them to control time of possession.

Eagles need WR help, and DL help.
Giants still have a sub-par OL even if they get a OT in the top 10. Giants should draft 2-3 OL in the draft.
Redskins are bad but they will be frisky and good for a couple upsets

Giants need a top OL, either 1st or 2nd round...but not concerned with 2.

SI article on scherff has my head spinning, but that would mean 2 t-rex's on the OL...

Beatty, Schwartz, Richburg, vacant, Pugh is workable. depth obviously a concern, maybe a another FA or a 4th or 5th.

would like to see another top DL and/or a S in top 3 picks.

Darren McFadden to Dallas. Potentially great player if he can stay healthy BUT Murray looks like iron man compared to McFadden if you're worried about injuries.

Looks to be a vet body for camp. If he shows he has something, great. Otherwise he will get cut. Would not be surprised to see them give Trent Richardson a look for the same reason.

I still think Dallas spends either a 1st or 2nd in the coming draft on a RB to be the starter.

Yeah, I think McFadden is just one of the bodies that will fill the void left by Murray. A platoon of McFadden, Randle (if he puts the blunt down), Dunbar (if he sticks around), or some other guys from the draft or street will be fine. I am not saying there will not be some drop off, but I think the Cowboys will still be a Top 10 rushing team.

I think Randle will be cut at some point and don't forget about Ryan Williams. He will get a shot.

I also think we draft someone early.

i think the pokes are going to get romo killed.

by putting the running back on the B side, its gonna be a Jailbreak...

Jerry has lusted after run DMC since he came out of Arkansas(Jerry Jones alma mater)
McFadden has talent but his toe may be degenerate by now with all the injuries. Jerry took Felix Jones in that draft because he couldn't get McFadden.

Belichick has shown that you don't need to spend money on RBs just have a bunch of guys on no money and rotate them depending on the opponent.

That's interesting. As a Giants fan, how would you rate Ertz vs Donnell?
I really like Larry. I don't think Ertz will ever live up to the hype that he was given last pre season. For that reason alone I call him a bust, and I don't think he will ever be an elite pass catching te. Donnell will never have that hype because he's not on the Eagles. In addition to that Donnell was undrafted, and Ertz was a 3rd rounder. They also have close to identical stats.

absolutly LOVE donnell's upside.

but as i typed that he just went upside down and fumbled...

last year was basically his rookie year, and once again Eli has shown that he can turn anyone into solid pass catching TE. hes got to work on his blocking though.

id like for the Giants to sign local boy Anthony Fasano as seasoned vet insurance who can block to help tutor Donnell.

i wouldnt give up on ertz yet either, fwiw.

How about Ertz vs Shockey who the G-Men took 14th overall?

Shockey couldn't get out of his own way. He would have had a great end to his career had he stayed with the giants. But he got jealous of Kevin who' the Boss in the Super Bowl. Plus his drinking buddy Billy Joseph left the giants so he left.

Ha! I meant on field production wise. I looked it up and the year Ertz had last year would've been the 3rd best compared to Shockey's 6 seasons in NY.

I'm not saying Ertz is Gronk but nobody is. That said, he's got some potential.

58 catches, 12.1 ypc, 42 of which went for 1st downs. That's exactly what I want from a TE.

Tebow, according to Schefter, left without hope of an offer.

Thank god. Ironically, thank god. Because Tebow is statistically one of the worst QBs in NFL history. That's a fact, by the way.
