He had $4M to leave. Bills could have re-hired him. They passed. The Bills didn't "pass" - he left them because he didn't want to deal w/ new ownership that didn't hire him.

no one is feeling sad for the jets. we're just pointing out that the guy who is doing well in jacksonville is kind of a doofusNo problem with teams scoring whatever they want. They are a bunch of people getting paid a lot of money to play a game.
I think there is a difference between playing dirty and running up the score. If someone has the opportunity and chooses to run it up on him, cool. If coaches tell players to do the Schiano knee dive, they should be fined. There are two ways to play the game. I have no problem with Marrone playing it the way he did, but he needs to be ok if and when the worm turns and someone plays dirty, cheap, or "aggressive" as the case may be on the other side. If he is, then run it up all you want. I dont care.

The Jets, Bills and Giants all had or could have had Marrone. They all passed and all 3 are pathetic basket cases. Maybe he wanted to practice that play for the playoffs or the Superbowl, which is where the Jags are going.
That had nothing to do with my point.Perhaps, but i also think that the dirty plays are far more likely to happen to the team that runs up the score. And yes they should be fined. But that's not going to fix the guy's leg.

The answer Doug gave as to why he went for two up 19 pts with only 25 seconds left is well, not believable. Bush league at the end of the day and he shouldn't have done it.
I look at it differently. He had to answer the question but he knows that no one will really buy his answer. He's being funny.I feel like everyone is missing the best part — that he says ‘oh it’s not I’ll will toward the Jets. Not at all. It’s just what the book says up 19.’
I literally laughed out loud when I read that. That’d be like saying ‘no I didn’t lose control of my car on a patch of ice, I was drinking all night and passed out behind the wheel while driving.’
When you google football coach he should pop up. He’s the best. Self-important, myopic, blow hard ... he checks all the boxes.
And, by the way, I have literally zero I’ll will toward DM leaving the cuse — in fact, I think it would be really hard to argue that he should have stayed. And he’s a good coach. I know I’m crushing him above he’s just the classic old school football coach. Central casting.

See, I don't think he's being funny. I think he's just a dick. The kind of man that hides behind thing like "the book."I feel like everyone is missing the best part — that he says ‘oh it’s not I’ll will toward the Jets. Not at all. It’s just what the book says up 19.’

Thanks to two born-and-bred Upstate New Yorkers - Tom Coughlin and David Caldwell. The Jets, Bills and Giants all had or could have had Marrone. They all passed and all 3 are pathetic basket cases. Dougie still gets you going. Thanks to two born-and-bred Upstate New Yorkers - Tom Coughlin and David Caldwell.

Hanging on to grudges and hate will give you illness.lol
Haven't won since. He and Coughlin need to go.
The Jags were dumb to not upgrade QB in the off-season.The Jags just need a decent QB and the Bills once again think they have a good QB.
