i am also pointing out that fans don't have to be that way. I am a Yankee fan that can root for the Red Sox when they are in the World Series. I can root for the Giants when they are in the Super Bowl. I don't get caught up in rooting against teams. As I said, different strokes for different folks. It wasn't a personal attack on you.

Oh no, there was no offense taken.
Just pointing out the obvious that fan is short for fanatic, so its better to expect little or no logic when dealing w/ them.
Its part of the fun of sports, that we can get lost in our fandom, to a point, and act like someone else. I have friends who can't accept that I'd root for the Yankees since I'm a Mets fan, or the Jets since I'm a Giants fan. But I definitely draw the line at the Cowboys!

I think the Cowboys fans hatred of him started when he took a trip to Mexico to bang on Jessica Simpson during the bye week before the playoffs, then came back and lost to the Giants. Then it mushroomed as all the Cowboy haters and the media were more than happy to pile on.
