OT: Houston Cougars Fire Head Coach

Houston fired head coach Tony Levine their head coach. He was 7-5 this year. He was 8-5 last year.

Not quite Bo Pelini absurd, but still absurd. I hope both Houston and Nebraska fail to reach similar levels of success under their new coaches. Nebraska's move was ridiculous and Riley will not win at Nebraska and they will realize four years from now that they made a big mistake.

Levine has a big special teams background. We could do a lot worse than him. Unfortunately he can probably do a hell of a lot better than that

Based on his Wiki he has seriously extensive special teams experience. Handled STs at Louisiana Tech, Louisville, the Panthers, and Houston...every stop since 02. Methinks that Shafer should place a call.
