Happy Thanksgiving to all. Let's be thankful for all the good things in life. In spite of a dismal season, SU is still NOT Rutgers. SU does not schedule it's OOC games based on the Pop Warner cupcake list. I am thankful for that.

CBS ruined that show by moving it around. And then in syndication it became a bigger hit than any MTM show of the same era. At the time, I was saying that some movie producer should want to make a WKRP film.
And Hugh Wilson, the show's creator - also created 2 other brilliant shows, but each ran only 1 reason: Frank's Place and The Famous Teddy Z. The former starred Tim Reid (Venus Flytrap) returning to his estranged father's hometown New Orleans to inherit a restaurant and rediscovering life among the endless eccentrics there. The latter was based around gossip that Robert DeNiro in one story and Marlin Brando in another, allegedly stayed with a talent agency only if he could have the newsroom boy become his agent. Both shows offended a large number of very powerful people in NYC and Hollywood.
