its always the phone. I always manage to do pretty well on the bar stool.. Dont run into problems until I stand up

Yeah - my wifes was doing the exact same thing as well however.. and I have encountered this with co-workers too.. doesn't make sense. I want the note 3 to use as a phone/mini tablet anyways and to enjoy the 4g speeds on something larger than an iphone. Been getting 19mb with the 4g at home and 25 at work ( my wife that is) so its more than the phone acting crappy. The fact the apple store nearby is a joke plays a role too.

I can understand that. I have a MacBook Air and an IPad with the 4G radio in it so I'm covered as far as larger tablet devices. I def stick with the iPhone because having 3 apple devices is like the holy trinity of technology. All 3 work so well together that I wouldn't dream of changing.

Yeah the wife and i discussed getting a macbook/ipad and would stick with apple if we had done that just because of the compatibility.

The only starbucks in on base. No Dunkin donuts either. We have about a million little drive up coffee shops tho. One on every corner.

Take it from someone who's family lives in Superior, WI and spent 3 years up there....I'd rather live in New Brunswick. That entire place is horrible.

I have the white 5c and love it. Initially I had to trick myself into thinking it looked like something a storm trooper would use.

Otherwise - thing is great. I you can wait for the 5s, do that, space gray.

Since your on att you can try a moto x still has a small foot print in hand like the iphone . A much larger screen motorola radios(best) plus you can customize it and make a cuse themed phone. Maybe test it out and get away from thay crapple stuff.Also they just released a app So you can easily import your iPhone contacts and messages over from the icloud. It runs a like pure version of android none of that hideous Samsung touch wiz.

Also it might be the smoothest phone out. Consumer reports rated its sister phones (vzw droids) better then the iphone and they do the same things other then some cosmetic differences. Plus has true touch less controls . No pushing a button to talk to siri its just waits for . Also active display is awesome. Me myself pull my phone out of my pocket all the time to check the time. So instead of opening it up its already showing also shows msgs u receive like that.

Best thing though its assembled in the good old U.S.A in Texas. No other smartphone can claim that.you always have 14 days to take it back after you get it if you still prefer your iphone

So my IT guy sucks at life. Had it pulled all apart, cant fix it.

Here's the plan as of now. Go get the wife her 5c tonight, get me on a list for the 5s. I'll take her 4, and use that until my 5s gets here.

Unless I get to the store and they show me some other awesome phone. I think I'd rather stay with the iphone tho. I'm not good with change... I eat the same subway sub every time I go. I only drink at one bar, and I've had the same wife for almost 3 years!

They do a good job reviewing phones.

Really it seems like everyone has a legit phone on the market now. I'm still partial to the RAZR maxx as the battery lasts longest and the back and sides are kevlar for the next time you drop it, but I'm seriously thinking about getting the note in the near future.

Yeah if your on Verizon the maxx is the mans phone.. I have original and nothing like having battery life of almost twice anything else was out. Real close on pulling the trigger and buying it outright to keep my unlimited data on sale for $500 of contract as of today instead of $650.

Also motorola builds their phones like tanks.. smartphone wise I have my maxx and before that the OG droid slider and they survived literally hundreds of drops with no case on them. Cases takes the sexy away.. 8)

well, jerk, I actually need people to see this, and respond if they have some smarts on the subject.

This guy (cusetroop) dropped his phone last night. Screen is fine, but now the lil SOB wont charge.

I did. I cant do a hardware reset because my lock button hasent worked in months. I saw that I could take the back off, and maybe wire number 4 came off, and I just have to re connect it but I dont have a screwdriver that small in the office. Maybe at the house, but I'll have to check when I get home.

Great idea! I've actually been talking to the wife about it for a few weeks. She wants the 5c 32gig thing... I want the 5s 16 gig. Only problem is, since I life in the gosh damn Yukon, the 5s is backordered for like 30 days.

So here are my questions:

Is the 5c really as girly looking as the pictures make them look?

Does anyone have a 5c, or a 5s? Do you like it?

If you were me (aka, a handsome man in Alaska) what would you do in this situation?

Here's my two cents. I don't have time to read two pages of bs about how iPhones suck and droids are king. The 5c is basically the same thing as the 5. The difference being is the plastic shell and an updated camera. I have had every iphone available since they came out. The 5s is by far the best one apple has come out with. It's lighting fast has a clear screen and has the updated camera and flash. The camera update alone make the update worth it. Everyone takes night pics, the new camera has better low light levels and takes wonderful night pics.

Now onto the droids. I also own a droid for work and it's garbage. It's not as easy to use as an iphone and it feels like a piece of plastic crap in your hand. The only reason I have the droid is because some pimple faced kid that works at Verizon told me how great they are. Come to find out they push droids cause there's a bigger markup on them. I'll leave you with this. Every droid that has ever come out is labeled the next iphone killer. Guess what not one has ever killed the iphone and they never will. I hope this helps. I would recommend the 5s

Wow no bashing of the iPhone that I saw different perspective. Not knowing what "droid" you have I'm guessing a HTC DNA. If so I do feel pity for ya. Sense is almost as bad as the touch wiz interface on the galaxy phones/notes. The new moto droid hell even the last couple they made before are not cheap feeling.

That's the good and bad thing about androids you have options. If you don't like the look or feel of 1 you have a choice to look at a different phone. Hell if your somewhat of a "techie" you can put a custom skin of your own liking from the development groups who make aftermarket U.I's and launchers.

With android you have options with Apple you take what they give you even if don't like it.

Edited simce Well i saw you had a S4 which is android but not a "droid " but I do agree with you Samsung build quality is always cheap. Never understood this mass love they get with such a cheap looking phone
