Kent State is becoming more fun and talented. That’s enough for now

Five key points:
  1. Kent State might or might not get better under Sean Lewis, but the Golden Flashes are already more fun.
  2. The energetic Lewis is also recruiting like gangbusters — this year’s class ranked fourth in the MAC despite, to put it kindly, a lack of evidence.
  3. The run game and deep pass will depend on defenses being preoccupied with screen passes, a.k.a. the bread and butter of the Kent offense.
  4. Just as the offense improved, the Kent State defense, long one of the MAC’s best, fell apart. That the defensive front is undergoing a rebuild might not be a bad thing.
  5. At Arizona State, at Auburn, and at Wisconsin in non-conference play? Seriously? 4-8 might be a sign of progress.

Good for Sean. Good guy; I am rooting for him.

So the Baylor offense is now being run at the following schools:

Syracuse - HC Dino Babers
Kent State - HC Sean Lewis
McNeese State - HC Sterlin Gilbert
Tulsa - HC Phil Montgomery
Florida State - OC Kendall Briles

Did I miss anyone?
