Especially when he's fighting women, which seems to be his specialty.

Let's go, Manny.

Enough with the noise.. it's game on.. that all sits ring-side for him to answer to post fight.

Second round looking like Mayweather is going to control this... Manny can't get inside. Neither guy landing anything of significance yet.

It pains me seeing so many young athletes supporting Mayweather on Twitter, and talking about all of his "haters" and whatnot. No one is "hating" on him for any reason other than he's a horrible, despicable human being who repeatedly beats women and has zero remorse about that fact. Good lord, it's so disheartening. Even guys like MCW are taking that stance of support.

I agree with everything you said about him as a person.

From a boxing standpoint, the guy is the greatest fighter ever. His tactics defensively are unrivaled. Rarely gets hurt.

Strongly disagree with him being the greatest fighter ever. He's excellent, there's no denying that. But I wouldn't even say he's the best fighter of the past 20 years. I think that, if somehow you could get them into the same weight class, Roy Jones would have absolutely DESTROYED Mayweather.

Then again, I'm biased because I absolutely loved watching Jones fight and think he's the best fighter of my lifetime.

Roy was severely flawed technically. He never developed the craft because he could rely on his superior speed and athletic ability to get by.

When he fought lengthy fighters that could box, he ran into trouble. When he started to age, he lost his speed and ran into more trouble. Floyd's speed and quickness have slowly eroded but his craft is still impeccable. Had they been a similar size, the fight would've gone similarly to the Zab Judah fight (who was like Roy in his speed/quickness). Roy would win some early rounds until Floyd makes adjustments, frustrates him, and shuts him down.

Plus Floyd's chin is surprisingly strong, whereas Roy's is anything but.

Roy moved up to light heavyweight (by far the worst division in boxing because any light heavyweight worth his slat moves up to heavyweight where the money is ten times as much) and beat a bunch of losers.

Many hate Mayweather (for good reason) but he fought and beat everybody, and he's ten times the boxer Roy Jones ever was.

The casual boxing fan wants to see two guys stand still in the middle of the ring and hit each other, but that's not boxing. Any two cavemen can hit each other, the art and the science of boxing is making the other guy miss and Floyd Mayweather is the best ever at that.

AFN Broadcasted the fight for free over here. Fox completely butchered our National Anthem! That fight was exactly why boxing is dying. It wasn't even a fight, just a lot of running around the ring or holding as a defensive measure. was boring and unsatisfying as is most boxing.
