OT Pierandri brings D-1 experience as new mens ice hockey coach

So...is this step one of making this a varsity sport at SU?

we need to be adding ACC sports, not Hockey East ones.

i love hockey, just dont get it?? :noidea:

Oh Lord

Me neither. I don't really care for hockey or baseball. But prior to the ACC move, hockey seemed like a natural. Now baseball seems like the best fit. Would they add both? And then what women's sports are on the clock?

Honest question. Why would baseball fit best compared to hockey?

Lets get more money allotted to the football program before worrying about adding more sports teams. The head of the Board of Trustee's stated on Sunday that SU commits less resources than many other private schools to football.

If they do add a sport my vote is for D-1 hockey. The travel budget would be much less and based upon the attendance in the Dome last week a hockey team might actually outdraw football. :bang: Only kidding. As you can see I'm still frustrated by the lack of support the people in this town have for football.

If its baseball well lets raise money for a baseball indoor practice facility because there is no way a decent baseball player is coming here to play in the cold/rain in April.

Why not both? The problem is what female sports would need to be added.
