It’s never easy to lose a pet., no matter how long a life they had. Fifteen years is wonderful.

quite the holiday weekend for us. one of our horses died on christmas morning, and then smokey went into distress on saturday morning. we've been fighting a nasal cancer with smokey for months. it had gotten to his eye & this weekend we lost the battle to save his eye. brought him home last night and he is in better spirits than he's been in months

So sorry to hear this. I got a dog (a bulldog/beagle mix, named...Otto ) about a month and a half ago, and until then, I never fully understood the bond between a family and their dog.

Caesar at 6 months old. Apparently, I have Rothstein's pup. At over 36 1/2 pounds, he is past 95th percentile for a Whippet. He don't look it, but he's a tough man, naughty-naughty!
