He didn't even apologise at the news conference for what he had his team do on the kneel down at end of game. He now is making friends in the nfl the way he did in college a real slime ball jerk!

It is what we have come to expect from a Greg Schiano-coached team. Oh Lord

Go TC!

He's going to make a lot of enemies with his classless act...

As Rutgers fans weep "he's going to cost us our NYC fan base!"

Always hated that classless move.
There is such a thing as propriety in sports- and diving at an OL's knees in the acknowledged "V-formation" is one of them.
What an A*&%hole.

I saw that and couldn't believe he brought it to the NFL. It was dirty in the FBS (or FCS whatever Rutgers plays in) but to pull that crap on a Sunday is going to come back to bite him someday.

What makes it a dickish move, is that he did that at Rutgers even when down by more than a single score. Which tells you its not about trying to win, its trying to take a cheap shot. Maybe if your team didn't get its ass beat for 60 minutes, you wouldn't be watching the other team in Victory formation.

He's a bagga de' duche.

Every team in the NFL took note of this today...their might be a phone call from the commish's office and there will likely be a little vigilanteism over the course of the season that will rectify this. If I'm a Tampa offensive lineman, and I get hurt because someone exacts revenge, I take it out on my head coach.

A RB going out of bounds near Shady and sweeping the leg would be deserving.

he left rutgers because their school was in the cutting his salary mode.

NBC pre-game guys had it right. 1 guy asks the NFL guys, "isn't this how you teach your team to be competitive" and Rodney Harrison says, "you teach your guys to be competitive for the first 59 minutes of the game, not the last few seconds".

Great answer.

That - or - get to midfield with a spot on the hash closest to TB sideline. Quick out to sideline, thrown hard. Receiver "slips" resulting in a direct Monkey Face.

Have to wonder if the next game that Schiano is losing at the end that the winning team fakes the victory formation and airs it out or does some other type of fake to embarrass them.

Schiano has always had a lot of class as a coach--unfortunately, all of it is low class.

Glad to see him getting lambasted in the national sports media--there's no room in the game for intentionally injuring players. And I love his comment about "...well, if you ever watched Rutgers, you'd see that's how we've always done it." Exactly, jerkoff.

What a scumbag.

I know, I know... Pisarchik tried to hand the ball off to Czonka - - so it wasn't a V formation, and he also just flat out fumbled it - wasn't really hit at all.
So I guess there's no logical comparison.

Never mind then. I won't bring it up the whole Herman Edwards thing.

you can take the man out of rutgers, but you can't take the scum out of the man

That's what I would do.

This theory presumes that Tampa will be in the lead at the end of a game - any game.

Players don't have to do everything their idiot coaches tell them to.

So many meathead coaches in this stupid sport
