So I thought that in the spirit of the NFL draft it may be fun to do a draft of our own. As with most message boards, most great conversations around here are driven by different perspectives and argumentative discussions. Anyway I thought as a way to appreciate other posters on here, why don't we have a little fun.

"Draft": Pick 3 Posters (Rd 1 / Rd 2 / Rd 3)
"Analysis": You get be your own analyst by describing why you made the selections you did and what drove the order.

Orangepace Draft:
Rd. 1 - Millhouse - His love for analytics would matchup very well as the QB of my team. Analytics rule the world. Deal. With. It.
Rd. 2 - CuseLegacy - There isn't a member of the board that is more in-the-know with real-time information. Pearing her sleuthing ability as my MLB with Millhouse makes this team very dangerous.
Rd. 3 - jekelish - He's loud, proud and the showman of the team. He's the Deion Sanders of my team. He keeps everyone informed and is quick to the punch. He's an artist with his photo edits and I see him donning himself next to the perennial Orangeyes Trophy in future edits.

You can't beat that draft, but let's see what you have...

Rd. 1 - sutomcat - This young man has a preternatural ability to break down not just what's happening on the field, but also behind the scenes. His passion for ginger ale and tubas is second to none. Take a look at the tape - wait, we don't have any tape? Well, someone's getting fired for this.
Rd. 2 - Bambrewer - A well connected talent who's come on strong in recent months, he's new to the game but has decisively established himself as a force to be reckoned with. He's got the insight into what's happening with the program to make him a perennial All Pro from day one.
Rd. 3 - CuseTroop - Honestly, just because the dude knows how to have a great time.

  • Round 1 - With the overall 1st pick in the 2015 draft, the New York tees select: King Francis03. Why? Cause, duh.

  • Round 2 - With the 33rd overall pick in the 2015 draft, the New York tees select: JarHeadJim. Why? Posts like this, nuff said.
  • Round 3 - With the 65th overall pick in the 2015 draft, the New York tees select: CuseHulk. He's edgy. He's out there and up in your face if you disagree. But the part I'm concerned with? He loves SU basketball, and I think we give him way too hard a time for that. Believe in the Hulk, cause one day, he might just not ship your luggage to Honolulu unexpectedly.

Oooooh, great call with Francis. Kicking myself for not thinking of him as a serious early round possibility.

1. First round selection Lawrinson14 because when I see what he does I laugh so hard people in the office be like "Oh, there goes crazy Mike, again"
2. Second round selection is Crusty because us north siders stick together
3. Third round pick is Marsh01 because nobody, and I mean nobody, takes dumps in the Dome like that guy
3. My second third round pick (traded rights to a future selection to Guinness for his 3rd rounder) is moqui because he's the only one here that really understands GMac

Really, this was an impossible exercise.
