OT: The Kyle Orton Era begins in Buffalo...

Don't mind threads on past players that's what matters but marrone and the bills are irrelevant to me. I'll start talking about the dolphins or Syracuse crunch soon on here then.

Kyle Orton might not be Tom Brady in his prime, but he did turn Brandon Lloyd into a 1,500 yard wide receiver. The guy is a pro. He can make all the throws and will hit the open guy. This was a good move by the Bills. Orton almost brought the Cowboys from behind in Week 17 against Philly last year until he threw a late INT. Like I said, hes not superstar, but when it comes down to it would I'd still take him over Tannehill and Geno Smith.

Isn't about the point in his career that Rich Gannon went to the Raiders?

Ahhh good comparison. Gannon was 33. Orton is 32. Similar track records up to their current age as spot starters for other teams. Gannon was more mobile, Orton a pocket passer.
