At the Syracuse-Michigan game at the Big House when McNabb was QB, Syracuse jumped out to a 14-0 led five minutes into the game. About a dozen fans sitting in front of me got up to leave. Five minutes into the home opener. One woman said to another as they were leaving " well, Marge, I guess this isn't our year". This was also the year after they won the national championship.

Michigan fans suck far worse than Syracuse fans - the difference is that there are so many more crappy fair weather blue-hairs rooting for Michigan that they sell out a 100K stadium every week. I think this goes for public universities in general - their fans on whole suck, too... There's just a heck of a lot more of them.
