Going to my first couple basketball games in years this season, just wondering the best or most recommended parking lots? Can you park at Skytop for basketball and take the shuttle over?

Yes, you can do that. You can also go down Euclid (away from the Dome, heading east) and find some side streets to park on. And that’s free!

There are also some $20 lots on Adams that is convenient if you want to eat and drink at the Varsity or a dozen other spots including the new Popeyes. And if you want some swag, the board recommends Mannys over shirt world.

As Beadle said, there is free on street parking, but you really need to pay attention to the alternate parking signs otherwise you will get a ticket.

Do you need a parking pass to get into Manley? Don’t recall anyone taking $ as I would drive past.

Paid parking will be available at the COLV (old Manley South) and COML (old Manley North) parking lots for $25 - (CREDIT CARD OR APPLE PAY ONLY). Free shuttle transportation is provided between the College Place shuttle drop off and the COLV and COML parking lots.

park and walk from Manley north.. Its pretty short thru the tombstones and avoids any bus issues. Though with a small crowd it shouldn't be too bad.

There were 4,100 people at the Daemen game. Probably even less tonight because the weather is crappy. I was told it's sleeting on Tipp Hill right now.

quick parking hijack question. the lexus dealership has loaned me an rx with the auto park function. i've never used one before and am having a hard time building trust. do they work ? how tight can they get ? will it back into my garage ?
thanks.

I think you can safely maneuver a 12 point turn..

Bumping this for a follow up question, I’ve decided to park at skytop, do the shuttles do drop off/pickup at the same place they do for football? Obviously as you guys know for football it’s at the quad. Thanks.

Why was the Varsity closed the day of the BC Game seemed like a bad move considering the big crowd. lol

This belongs in the no peasants thread.

I think they drop you off at the door. But that may be only the handicapped, come to think of it. I had to ride it for most of one season 14 or so years ago because of weird muscle knot pain.

Yes. They drop off at College Place, close to Sims Hall. Maybe 300 yards to the nearest dome entrance. Flat as a pancake.
