I wonder what changed, after the first 2-3 series I wasn't sure we could keep Dungey upright, but then suddenly we did a great job the rest of the game with just a few breakdowns.. Wonderful job by that crew all night

They fought and did a wonderful job. Also, the receivers did a very good job of getting open pretty quickly and Dungey running around may have tired them a bit as well.

that cant be right.. i remember multiple threads on Clemson forums that they were too deep to ever get tired by up tempo teams?

The defense did a heck of a job getting the ball back to the offense as well. Clemson had to have had better time of possession all year than they did vs SU.

Some of what changed was the multiple guys in motion formations and re-fromations to flip strong and weak sides. Clemson was sometimes struggling big time to adjust and get lined up.

I think this new twist might be one of the more under appreciated things we saw Friday night.

It really messed them up. Will be interesting to see if Miami gets the same look.
