PAY THAT MAN HIS MONEY!!!!

Regardless of Clemson’s start to the season. I’d call this a top 5 win since joining the ACC EASILY. Covered the spread by 30 points. Not many teams go into that stadium and put up those kinds of points. Fran and Nixon are just incredible. Gotta give ERob his flowers. Defense appears to be taking some steps.

What this staff is doing cannot be understated. Give him a blank check

So what did Fran originally sign? A 4 year? So reset it to a new 5 or 6 year and bump him to $5.7M to $6m a year? Median in the SEC is probably around $7 to $8M? Probably need to make sure he can up the pay of his staff as well.
Need to bump him more than that. Guaranteed resources for additional staff and NIL

These are the SEC salaries Quoted from a Hookem Headlines article

Clark Lea, Vanderbilt Commodores – $3.05 million
15. Jeff Lebby, Mississippi State Bulldogs – $4.51 million
14. Sam Pittman, Arkansas Razorbacks – $5.25 million
13. Shane Beamer, South Carolina Gamecocks – $6.125 million
12. Hugh Freeze, Auburn Tigers – $6.5 million
11. Mike Elko, Texas A&M Aggies – $7 million
10. Brent Venables, Oklahoma Sooners – $7.25
9. Billy Napier, Florida Gators – $7.5 million
8. Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss Rebels – $8.85 million
T-5. Mark Stoops, Kentucky Wildcats – $9 million
T-5. Josh Huepel, Tennessee Volunteers – $9 million
T-5. Eliah Drinkwitz, Missouri Tigers– $9 million
4. Brian Kelly, LSU Tigers – $9.5 million
3. Steve Sarkisian, Texas Longhorns – $10.3 million
2. Kalen Deboer, Alabama Crimson Tide – $10.875 million

University needs to pay Fran and give him the resources to support his staff.
Community, fans and businesses need to contribute support NIL and the team.
I donate, buy NIL beer and go to Meiers Creek to see Cody.

I will eat this laptop if I'm wrong
FRAN will not leave if he keeps getting the support he is getting
I’m going to take Fran for his word. His entire thing is authenticity and he is different imo. He came from nothing, he said that in his presser. We made him a millionaire and gave him a p5 job. He will be loyal to Wildhack and I truly think he wants to build a northeast football power. He will take a raise though

Honestly it will be interesting to see how Syracuse handles this. If I am Fran I want to know who my next AD is before signing long term right? Seems like relationships would matter there to Fran. He is going to want to know that. Is the former Pitt AD who Wildhack brought in well regarded so far at SU?

I hope the next SU athletic director is the one currently at Army.

Agreed! And, if you want to see this team excel on Offense and Defense the board and whomever else controls their salaries had better come up with the money for not only him, but for NIXON and ELIJAH or were in jeopardy of losing both of them esp. NIXON. That would be a shame, they've gelled and have a great team beginning a long SU history of great football.

For Syracuse football to truly take the next step, the administration needs to make serious investments in building a championship-caliber program. That starts with keeping Jeff Nixon in place as the offensive coordinator. He’s already proven that he can scheme at a high level, and if we’re serious about competing in the ACC and on the national stage, he has to be considered one of the top three coordinators in the country. Locking him down means paying him like it—because great offenses are built by stability and vision at the top.
The same goes for Fran Brown. If Syracuse wants to turn the corner, he has to be backed with the resources and financial support that elite head coaches receive. That includes not just salaries, but also giving him the tools to succeed with a strong NIL program. NIL is the new arms race in college football, and it’s what will allow Syracuse to win battles in both the transfer portal and high school recruiting. To land and retain 5-stars and high 4-stars, you have to show recruits that Syracuse is not just a stop along the way—it’s a place where they can thrive, win big games, and set themselves up for the next level. On the field, the blueprint is clear. We need more players like Calvin Russell, Amare Gough, Jarius Rodgers, and Kamron Wilson—guys who have that perfect blend of athleticism, toughness, and upside. They’re the kind of recruits who can change the complexion of a roster. And it can’t just be one or two of them per cycle; Syracuse needs 15–20 of these types of talents in every class to stack the roster with difference-makers. That’s how you shift from being competitive to being a real contender for ACC championships and playoff spots against the heavyweights in the Big Ten and SEC.Syracuse has the right coach, a growing culture, and flashes of elite talent. Now it’s about scaling it up. Back the coaches, build the NIL, and recruit at a level that brings in waves of stars every year. Do that, and this program won’t just dream about competing with the nation’s best—it’ll be standing toe to toe with them.

Agree on everything although Nixon may want a head coaching job. I believe that is in his ambitions.
