Has anyone heard anything regarding a contract extension? Listening to Finebaum, Josh Pate and Andy and Ari all claim that Fran is in the top 3 for multiple jobs including: Penn St, Florida and Florida St (when that opens up).

I think we need to get an extension done asap in order to retain him. Without him, I don’t what we do at this point. Would be a huge step back in the momentum we have for recruiting.

None of those places are hiring him. Just don’t see it. Also no need to tear up his current contract.

I think Fran should be giving his agent an extension for getting his name linked to jobs that he would never be considered for at this time.

This season isn't going ideally, but their starting QB went down on what was seemingly going to be a great year after they blew out Clemson in Death Valley, in case you forgot. We're less than 24 months into the Fran era, building that depth is going to take a minute. 10-3 in his first year with a 5-Star QB he got from Ohio State throwing to a WR from Georgia.

We have 5-Stars committed and the #1 overall Running Back in the country is set to be on our campus along with Oregon, Notre Dame, Miami, Michigan and Georgia. Our visits are littered with 4-star & 5-star kids. The '26 class has 4/5 4-Star kids and a Top-40 kid in the country.

Have some perspective, man. Some of you are just whiners. The second something doesn't go your way you pout. It's weird. I'm not saying don't be frustrated, I'm as frustrated as anyone. But my god, folks. "Come get him"? Really?
