There are plenty of people in Happy Valley who remain devastated, sickened and appalled by the crimes committed and covered up. We could ask where are their voices, but they know they would lose the shouting contest, so why even try.

That's the thing that bothers me. The people that have their priorities straight are being shouted down by the people with messed up priorities.

They don't deserve that. The messed up priorities camp is so aggressive about being the voice. They did not deserve those restorations.

That just comes with the territory. When your stance has no quantitate or qualitative proof behind it, your only option is to speak louder and drown out those who aren't believers.

I think Rutgers could make up some of their financial shortfall by selling and distributing some of those student signs that were so freakin funny. PSU haters around the country would buy those in a heartbeat. RU should be applauded for those signs.

Hiring Franklin is a exhibit A that nothing has changed with that program. You're coming off one of the most disgusting sports scandals in history and the guy you hire while you're on sanctions is a guy who was actively trying to cover up a rape case at Vandy. The whole thing is a joke.

Maybe Penn State officials thought that based upon the cover up experience you describe above, he was the most qualified candidate to work in their "environment."

I admit I was happy to see Ped State beat Rutgers. Can't say I openly rooted for them though. IMHO if Rutgers won, then that might have meant something. Ped State winning didn't change a thing. Oh and I won't lose any sleep over you telling to me fluck off.

I'm not sure if you meant this or not, but the president came from FSU, not UF. That's important because he was involved in the rape scandal down there. You would think those two people would be the last two people PSU hires, but then again, nobody ever accused PSU of being well-managed.

That was just a quick list off the top of my head naming the most prominent scandals. I could actually double that without breaking a sweat. The team cheats (academic scandals & disciplinary scandals), the school has no ethics at all (riots, r*pes, terrorism), the school is terrible about PR (Franklin, Barron, handling the victims), the academic standards are mediocre at best, and it's been investigated by just about every agency under the Sun because it was (and probably still is) criminally mismanaged. What is there to like? Seriously, try to name one thing.
