Class of 2018 PF Bryce Golden (MD) to Butler

Nah.

I mean, as a fan it would have been cool, but it really is not concerning.
Really, what he said. If it was me, I would want to wait and get alone with my son and ask him what he really liked and what he wants before he committed. Unless he wanted to commit right then and there.

No issues whatsoever with the young man not committing immediately. Let him discuss with family, if need be take other visits to be sure. It’s what most of us would tell our kids to do...

I feel like we get out hopes up that kids commit on their visit...and it just never happens.

Exactly. The board was in meltdown mode for like 2 weeks when Tyus didn't commit immediately after his visit after the Michigan decommit. Let's just let it play out. Bryce probably wants to make sure he makes the right decision after having to switch from Pitt.

Looking at his final four teams, Syracuse surprisingly has more depth at the PF position and Center Position than any of the other three schools. If Golden is looking for immediate playing time as a starter, then Butler, Georgetown and Illinois can each offer him that opportunity. Syracuse can offer him the opportunity to play as the third forward in a 3-4 Forward rotation or as the third center behind Chukwu and Sidibe. There will be minutes in each of these scenarios. I believe that there is more prestige playing for Syracuse but there are starters' minutes available at PF and C at the other schools.

At Butler, there are no PFs on their roster and at center, they will have a 6'10" senior and a 6'11" redshirt redshirt sophomore.
At Georgetown, they have 4 open scholarships, 1 Senior C (Jesse Govan whom I believed signed up for the draft) and a junior non scholarship PF (George Mursean, JR) whom Syracuse offered as a preferred walk-on 2 or 3 years ago.
At Illinois, they have 2 sophomore PFs and 2 incoming PF freshmen. They have one scholarship available out of 6 that they had for this class.

I used to love torturing the AckAcktor on SFN, FB and his stickam room.

Fratto was a douche.
Oh wow the Stickam room. I used to go on there to watch his trainwreck of an American idol commentary show. That must have been 10 years ago now. Usually it was so bad that I got bored and would just make stupid comments so I'd get kicked out.

I miss that little guy. As painful and boring as he was to listen to at times he was a great show villain. Probably the best of all time considering how much air time he got

At SU he will most likely play a solid 20 per game as a true frosh. He will start next year

I wouldn't commit immediately either. I'd enjoy the free visits and being catered to off and on the court. You only get those experiences once.

Of course, the Orange might have another offer out there and the first to say yes gets the rose. But who knows?

Know something? If another offer, it's been awfully quiet on that front.

No. I haven't heard a thing lately. And the last thing I heard, and I mean from two great sources, was that we were done for this year. So much for that.

What about the Kentucky kid? Apparently there are some SU family ties? He seems like a natural fit size-wise/athletically for the system here.

Unless 1 source is JB, we are never done.

I would have had my chair float by balloons, that's all I'm saying. Now get me my Pepsi.

That suggests to me that all three of those other teams are in for some rough seasons ahead.
