Duncan and Hughes managed to get Rutgers to the dance for the first time since 1974.
Jimmy had a bad habit with his short bench chasing away talent in his early years. That probably has cost him in later years.
Duncan left because he was behind Sherm and thought he should be ahead of him. Also, he and Sherm could not stand each other.

I heard Adam has close to $1 trillion in net worth and he’s planning to give JP half if he’s willing to do a billboard on 481 with an Upstate Shredding truck.
But, do you know this for a fact?

Maybe not the best place for this article but it gives great insight into what, specifically, Tennessee is doing in the NIL space:

Let's hope JP is being honest when saying it isn't a major factor in his decision making process.
The timing of the first public mention of the 315 Foundation and the fact that it was announced by JB and a basketball reporter, and the mention of a primary competitor for JP’s services having a large, established collective has to be just coincidental with the way it dovetails with Estrella’s announcement of a decision date, right?

TJ Power included Iowa in his Top 5 (Iowa, Duke, UNC, Virginia, BC). He's a 6-8 or 6-10 Power Forward who is highly rated. If he commits, that would reduce the amount of time JP would play the 4, and he indicated he likes playing the 4 as well as the 5. Power is aiming to announce in mid-September.

I think Iowa only has one scholarship left, as well.

Never understood why we didn’t get involved with this kid, but I sense he ends up and at Duke and he’s going to end up killing us. It appears this is the kid Duke decided to prioritize over Estrella.

The difference between Power and JP is that Power is a 6’8 3/4. Where as JP is a 4/5.

Millionaire billionaire aside, he isn’t the savior until we start hearing about deals coming out, if he doesn’t want to dole out large NILs that’s fine seeing as it’s his money, but there certainly needs to be some sort of effort out of the rest of the alumni to seemingly catch-up with the rest of the ACC, which the group here has proven is entirely possible.

Take this garbage to the other board.

I remember where I was the last time we went up against UT for a big time recruit. Still have PTSD from that day. Thanks Mr. Harris! :)

Here's hoping this turns out differently.

Nothing has to be made public. And how do you know there has been no effort by alumni? Seemingly was appropriate.

They had a cake.

I’m not saying there hasn’t been, I’m just saying that’s where the opportunity is, not one off millionaires

The Estrellas do not seem like the kind of family to chase the highest NIL dollars. All of the contenders should be able to provide an NIL, and maybe TN can provide the highest amount. But, the most important thing appears to be the right fit, culture and family. I believe we win in the category of fit, culture and family, and can seal the deal by offering a decent and competitive NIL.
