Another highly regarded frosh that struggled a good bit
Roughly 5.4 assists per 40 against 1.8 TO per 40 (just doubled his numbers since he averaged 20.2 minutes). Not bad, didn't score much though and shot poorly.

But he'll probably be looking for starter minutes, and we can do better as a top choice.

3/1 a/to is outstanding especially for freshman. He's a bit of an unusual player but should become good college player somewhere

Kind of just showing that Transfers and upperclassmen are WAY more valuable then HS recruits
Akin to MLB Draft:

HS prospects are wildcards, but teams can mold them as they see fit within their system. Most often, they take time (measured in years) to amass professional reps (at-bats or innings) to develop, but are at least consistently able exposed to professional coaching norms/methods. While their ceilings are often higher, there is more time for nits to be picked, injury to occur, pitfalls to be found.

Meanwhile, college baseball players are older (by 3-4 years), more developed physically/mentally, polished, worldly/educated/autonomous, but their ceiling not as often as high. They are not used to the professional schedule of playing every day. They also might be abused by their college head coach, especially pitchers. Overall, the coaching received will be substandard compared to the professional ranks.

Not exactly the same, but there are some correlations between this and college hoops.
