Syracuse will hold its annual Elite Camp on Saturday. The invite-only camp runs for one day and features rising sophomores and juniors.

Anthony Brown

Brown, a 6-1 point guard, garnered attention this summer, while playing on Team Takeover’s U-16 squad. He attends Paul VI High School in Fairfax, Va.

He has offers from George Mason and Providence with interest from a quickly growing list of schools.

This kid is terrific. As good a passer as I’ve seen. Great handle, shooter and floor general. Ninety percent foul shooter. I’m not sure if he’s 5’10”. They list him at 6’1”.

He and Baba had 36 points in the first game of a game in the Peach Jam. Ant. could not miss and was so fast he had 21 points on his own. The other team played tough defense on him in the second half and limited him to 6 free throws for a total of 27 points.

I am surprised that he doesn’t have offers from the top tier programs. We were on him early and need to get back in, being that the guards we are going after have a lot of great programs breathing down their necks. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to add another option.
