Rippey is more of a point guard and Smith is more of a shooting guard. Their skills overlap a ton, they are both good basketball players, but they can definitely be on the court together without stumbling over each others feet.

Deron's dad told me the visit went quite well. I'll also add that there have been some stories via recruiting analysts in recent days that speak to certain schools leading for Deron, Adidas schools. Deron says that's non-sense. Syracuse is in this.
I hope this works out. He’s a dynamic player and fun to watch. He has the entire package. Ideally, the NBA wishes he was a little bigger. Might keep him in college longer.
