The DO article was great! I was trying to connect with Deron's Dad last night, but wasn't able to. Hoping to in the next day or two. I do think Syracuse has a great shot here, but we'll have to see how all the visits go!

At least the conversations are cautiously optimistic
and the euphoria hasn't taken over. We will always have to be patient with the very high level talent that is out there. We just aren't a "slam dunk" for any of these kids. It'll be a waiting game.

I love our persistence even with the big boy programs in pursuit. Hopefully, the dedication pays off. It takes a strong personality and special person to not follow the pack and want to build something special (see Carmelo Anthony).

Caught up with Deron's dad about the recent Syracuse official visit and noted his play at the Border League over the weekend with Griff on hand. Just my take, but Deron could make a move into the top five overall. Just knocked off the country's No. 1 2026 prospect:
