The reality is that being able to achieve passing scores (as opposed to standing out) in public school is more about showing up than being a book worm. Most kids that do really poorly, do so because they aren't properly motivated and don't understand the value of doing at least the minimum. Assuming they don't have learning disabilities that get in the way.

I suspect that his current association with Lebron and whoever else he's hooked up with is helping in that regard.

If a Jr High/ Middle School record seals ones fate then there are a lot of people living a lie.

If you listen to this kid speak, reading his blog etc this is not an intellectually challenged individual. Clearing House issues are naturally going to come up having someone like LeBron in his life but last I knew LeBron wasnt lacking in the maturity/intelligence Dept either. I can see him being disliked a bit due to being such a confident kid who demands having control of his own destiny. That can play a role in things too.

Not at all worried about Dior qualifying, but very interested in where he finishes his HS career. Would love to see him come back East and play for Brewster. I gotta imagine the coaches are encouraging him to do so. I'll be worried if he stays out West and within LeBron's orbit.
